We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Policy Manager, Trust & Safety. As a Sr. Policy Manager at Match Group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the policies we use to ensure user safety and authenticity across both our online dating and live app brands. This role requires strong technical skills, project management abilities, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.Match Group is a leading provider of dating products available globally. Our portfolio includes Tinder, Match, OkCupid, Hinge, PlentyOfFish, and others, each designed to help singles find a meaningful connection.How you’ll make an impact:• You will develop comprehensive trust and safety policies that align with industry standards, legal requirements, and the unique needs of Match Group apps.• You will guide Match Group’s policy strategy, including helping define the standards and expectations that policies across Match Group’s brands are expected to meet.• You will develop policy and knowledge management frameworks to scale Match Group’s policy efforts.• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of trust and safety policies across platforms and regions.• You will create clear and concise policy communications to ensure all policy stakeholders within Match group understand their responsibilities and obligations. Ensure policies are easily accessible for reference.• You will lead projects related to policy implementation, including planning, monitoring, problem-solving, and timely completion at portfolio scale.• You will stay informed about evolving laws and regulations related to trust and safety. Ensure policies meet regulatory requirements and keep the organization in compliance.• You will conduct periodic audits to evaluate policy effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Make necessary updates to policies based on emerging challenges and feedback.• You will develop training programs to educate employees on trust and safety policies, procedures, and best practices, as well as serve as primary consultant for user facing policy education.• You will conduct ongoing risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and proactively address them. Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies for risk mitigation.• You will stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices related to trust and safety. Engage with external partners and industry organizations to share knowledge and contribute to industry-wide safety initiatives.We may be a match if:• You have 5+ years or comparable experience in drafting, implementing and enforcing user safety policies and standards, preferably within the technology or online services industry.• You have demonstrated project management skills, including planning, monitoring, problem-solving, and on-time delivery of work.• You have the ability to independently resolve complex issues, exercise sound judgment, and make data-driven decisions and are comfortable navigating ambiguity and working on projects that address difficult and sensitive issues (such as violence, racism, sexuality, etc.)• You have a collaborative mindset, working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at different levels.• You have the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly, maintain confidentiality, and comply with privacy regulations.• You have knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory frameworks related to trust and safety.
