Job Summary:
Ensure parts are delivered to manufacturing on time and verify part shortages against stock availability and scheduled deliveries
Job Responsibilities:
Receiving and delivering aircraft parts to designated manufacturing area
Coordinate with shipping to return unqualified or discrepant material to the appropriate supplier
Coordinate with other departments to optimize production schedules. Verify status and location of parts delivered to manufacturing
Provide regular updates to manufacturing and production control as to part delivery status, estimated delivery dates, and shortages
Facilitate with parts tracking and accountability to minimize displaced and lost assets
Oversee Issuing of tools in and out of the tool crib daily
Inventorying tool crib on monthly basis to ensure all tools are accounted
Pulling tools for calibration on a monthly basis
Ensuring broken tools are being replaced by the responsible party.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED. Associate Degree preferred
Basic computer skills and knowledge of Bell Systems are a plus
