What you’ll be doing as a Flight Control Systems Engineer:
DESIGN AND TEST
Bring your experience and ideas and help us develop software and hardware that will advance our future Military and Commercial products. We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell V-280 Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) and the Bell 360 Invictus Future Attack and Reconnaissance Aircraft (FARA), part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless, Bell’s Autonomous Pod Transport (APT), and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold tilt-rotor.
Skills You Bring To this Role:
Experience in embedded system development in areas such as: System architecture design, derivation of system, software, and component level requirements, design and development of system architecture, system redundancy management, fault management, crew alerting, flight management, aircraft autonomy, actuation (hydraulic or electric), and system integration, verification, and validation in desktop integrated lab environments, pilot in the loop simulated environments, and/or on flight test aircraft.
What you need to be successful
We are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to innovate. You’ll need a Bachelor’s degree, with a Major in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science being preferred. Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience. Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered.
