Material Handler

Greenheck Group is currently hiring an individual to join our Materials team on 3rd shift in our Minneapolis, MN location. Material Handlers start at $21.37/hour and will receive an additional $1.50 shift differential for 3rd shift.

This position is responsible for maintaining flow of materials and supplies throughout the factory as well making sure that the facility remains clean. The Material Handler is also responsible for checking and maintaining proper inventory levels of key components and raw material.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• 
  Conduct a check on supply needs for each area (inventory in each production area).
• Uses production schedule information to pull, stage, and deliver appropriate parts and raw materials for each production area.
• Materials received are verified against the packing slip and SAP
• Notify Supervisor or Material Specialist if there is a difference between the materials received and the packing slip or SAP.
• All material is placed into the appropriate location within the warehouse area.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment throughout the factory.
• Operate overhead lifting equipment and material handling equipment as needed based on safety guidelines.

Job Specifications:

• 
  Between 3-6 months of prior warehouse or material handler experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a repetitive basis as well as bend, twist, reach, and stoop
• High concentration levels and a strong awareness of surroundings.
• Basic math and computer skills required.
• Ability to safely operate equipment (material handling equipment, etc.).
• Ability to read and understand directions and packing slips.
• Ability to read measuring devices.
