  • Relocation will not be offered for this role.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Completes operational approved logistics processing on schedule (Goods Receipt / Warehouse / Transport / Dispatch).
  • Accepts incoming goods and compares them with the shipping document (Material number, description, quantity).
  • Checks incoming goods for visible damage, documents them and provides the information if required.
  • Takes care for correct use of transport equipment (hand-guided industrial trucks, forklift, etc.).
  • Captures relevant data in data processing systems.
  • Arranges the acceptance, storage, commissioning and removal of goods in the storage area and records them in the appropriate systems.
  • Organizes a regular stock maintenance and inventory in the storage area. Assembles deliveries out of given storage compartments and reviews for completeness and accuracy (e.g. quantity and article number in reference to the respective delivery notes).
  • Completes packaging of deliveries having regard to shipping instructions, common methods of dispatch, types of packaging and other instructions (e.g. Dangerous Goods) in the given framework.
  • Adds the corresponding shipping documents to the outgoing goods.
  • Completes transports inside and if applicable outside the premises with professional usage of appropriate means of transportation.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
  • High school diploma required.
  • 0-2 years of experience into industrial manufacturing
  • Accurately pick and pack orders (Handheld scanners).
  • Check in, unload, and receive all freight for trucks.
  • Verifies quantity, checks receiver against shipping bills.
  • Operates power equipment including high Reach Truck and 5k forklifts.
  • Place materials in storage area in designated places.
  • Maintains 5’s conditions in the warehouse by sweeping and general cleanup.
  • Follow established safety procedures.
  • Follows all rules of the department, company, and state and federal laws.
  • Willing and available to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to meet production standards.
  • Ability to read, write and understand metric measuring system.
  • Demonstrate the ability to count and record material data with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in SAP and other MS Office computer tools.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted on a regular basis and be on feet 8 or more hours/day.
  • Available for overtime for up to 12 -hour days and on off days.
  • Ability to read, write and understand metric measuring system.
