The Team:

We have an existing opportunity for a Brand Manager to join our EEMEA EXPORT Marketing Team in Athens reporting to the Sr. Sales & Marketing Manager Export, in temporary basis, covering a Maternity leave. The key objectives of this role are to design & execute the marketing strategy for Dolls portfolio on a local level, aligning with EMEA Regional Marketing priorities, with ultimate goal to increase sales and market share of Dolls brands.

Job Description

What Your Impact Will Be: 

Job Objectives:

  • Ensure best effective and impactful amplifications & implementations of Dolls Brand strategies and marketing plans in the different
  • Select the product line by channel/ customer, manage product information and localization of creative assets
  • Define and manage Dolls A&P budget
  • Responsible for pricing & quantity forecasting in conjuction with Sales
  • Be responsible to prepare & present the new lines and brand updates to distributors & sales teams through Virtual presentations
  • Team up with Media and Digital Marketing team for optimal implementation of Media Strategy for brands in alignment with thresholds, key platforms and right target, maximizing global assets
  • Partner closely with Regional Dolls Brand Marketing and Communication teams, with Sales, and local markets to drive sales, revenue and market share for dolls portfolio
  • Be the main point of contact for category questions/enquiries for distributors and ensure the dissemination of relevant information/assets

Key responsibilities

  • Line pricing tool responsibility for Dolls lines
  • Develop and implement brand marketing plans by key market
  • Contact with the key marketing people of the customer/distributor
  • Identify brand opportunities
  • Actively participate in Regional Dolls calls
  • Follow up with distributors to ensure timely execution of the agreed marketing brand plans
  • Present new product lines and brand strategies and tentpoles to markets / sales twice per year
  • Read POS reports and suggest actions where required
  • Manage brand A&P
  • Align the sales plan by customer with the brands’ target
  • Select products and quotas in alignment with the target
  • Launch and promote new brands / products following global / regional brand directions

Internal working relationships: Marketing regional & local teams, Local Sales dpt, Brand finance team, Local Licensing team, Regional PR & Content teams

External working relationships: Customers/Distributors, licensor local teams, Media Agencies, Designers, POP suppliers

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration (Bachelor/Master) or equivalent qualification/experience
  • 3-5 years Commercial Marketing experience preferably in Toys, FMCG or licensed consumer goods, Apparel or Health & Beauty industry
  • Experience with an international/ cross-cultural environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Attention to detail and process affinity.
  • Strong follow-up and prioritization skills.
  • Highly competitive mindset & Business results-oriented: ability to perform and manage forecasts.
  • Ability to work in a wide variety of projects with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to operate within a matrix business environment and handle diverse audiences.
  • A confident and articulate communicator capable of inspiring strong collaboration within an organization.
  • Proactive, positive, and innovative mind.
  • Fast learner – the ability to work in high energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent Excel & Power Point Skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Flexibility for occasion business travel (in average 2 times per year)
