Quality Engineer Technician

MAU is hiring a Quality Engineer Technician for our client in Greenville, SC. As a Quality Engineer Technician, you will apply standard engineering techniques to assigned tasks and ensure that specific goals are met in terms of quality, quantity, and timeliness to meet department goals and grow within the company. This is a contract, long-term assignment.Benefits Package:• Competitive compensation package based on experience• Health benefits• Paid time off• 18-month contract with direct hire potentialShift Information:• 7:00 AM – 4:00 PMRequired Education and Experience:• High school diploma or GED• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, and/or machining• Experience with nonconforming parts• Quality management experienceGeneral Requirements:• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills• Strong critical thinking skills• Proficient oral and written communication skills• Proven problem-solving abilityPreferred Requirements:• Associates degreeEssential Functions:• Document technical data generated to substantiate assigned components, assemblies, and/or systems consistent with quality policies and procedures• Prioritize and implement multiple concurrent process improvement projects alone or as part of a multifunctional team to drive customer satisfaction and business productivity• Walk the plant floor to find the marked parts in the quality cart, collect any required information (may have to lift/move part for photos or to find inspection reports on CMM network drive), and route the nonconformance report to the proper engineer based on part numbers• Conduct training on quality assurance concepts and tools• Maintain and improve process documentation active and enforced in assigned areas to ensure consistent quality• Perform other tasks as requiredMAU Workforce Solutions is an innovative global company with extensive experience providing solutions for success in staffing, recruiting, technology and outsourcing to our clients, employees, and applicants.
