This position will support the Children and Youth Evaluation Services program (C-YES).The Clinical QA Supervisor oversees a team of Clinical QA Nurse Analysts for the CYES Clinical QA Department to ensure they are administering and participating in an effective quality assurance and quality control program that plans for, identifies , monitors, and resolves issues.This position is fully remote in the state of New York and an active, unrestricted NY RN license is required.About the program:Maximus, in partnership with the New York State Department of Health, operates the Children and Youth Evaluation Service (CYES) program. It assesses eligibility for home and community-based services (HCBS) under Medicaid for children and youth aged 0-21 identified as Medically Fragile (MDF) or with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED).Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Supervise assigned Quality Assurance staff, including the functions associated with quality assurance monitoring and monthly reporting of monitoring results.• Identify and set monthly individual/team goals.• Monitor the performance of Quality Assurance Staff, including providing continuous feedback, coaching and corrective actions, as necessary.• Complete quarterly and annual performance reviews for Department staff.• Manage the timecards, assignments and time off of Quality Assurance staff.• Develop monthly Quality Assurance workflows.• Ensure Quality Assurance staff effectively monitor and assess all areas of operations.• Act as subject matter expert for the Quality Assurance team members.• Provide ongoing training and support to Quality Assurance staff.• Ensure Quality Assurance staff maintain updated knowledge of policy and procedure changes.• Identify avenues to improve business process by analyzing quality evaluations and making recommendations to leadership.• Raise issues of concern and/or problems to the attention of leadership.• Prepare daily and weekly updates for QA Management based upon monthly sample and staff productivity• Participate in internal audits of policies and procedures.Minimum Requirements• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of practice is required• RN Licensure; Graduate of an accredited nursing program.• Minimum of 3 years of related experience in Quality Assurance in a health or social services field or 3+ years of experience with conducting UAS.• 3+ years leadership and/or RN experienceHome Office Requirements• Maximus provides company issued computer equipment• Reliable high-speed internet service• Minimum 20 Mpbs download speeds/50 Mpbs for shared internet connectivity• Minimum 5 Mpbs upload speedsEEO StatementActive military service members, their spouses, and veteran candidates often embody the core competencies Maximus deems essential, and bring a resiliency and dependability that greatly enhances our workforce.
