Description & RequirementsMaximus is currently hiring for an Human Resources Coordinator to support our Indiana Eligibility team. This is an onsite position located in J effersonville, IN. The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing human resources support including but not limited to company policies, recruiting, onboarding, providing employment law expertise, and solving employee relations problems such as i nvestigations, mediations, progressive discipline, employment terminations, etc.Essential Duties And Responsibilities• Counsel incoming employees on issues related to background investigations, adjudications, tuition reimbursement, payroll, etc.• Provide guidance on processes, workflow and proper approvals for audit tracking of HR functions.• Support HR functions with workflow guidance, proper approvals, and audit tracking.• Coordinate new hire paperwork, onboarding events, and new joiner training.• Assist employees with questions about benefits such as disability, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off,retirement plans, etc.• Assist with reporting and special projects as needed.Minimum Requirements• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.• 0-2 years of experience required.EEO StatementActive military service members, their spouses, and veteran candidates often embody the core competencies Maximus deems essential, and bring a resiliency and dependability that greatly enhances our workforce.
