By disinfecting and cleaning patient, exam, procedure, operating rooms, and public spaces, Environmental Service Technicians ensure that patients, staff, and visitors have access to clean, safe environments and promote positive patient outcomes. The use of proper chemicals, floor scrubbing machines, and replenishing supplies is critical to maintaining the cleanliness of healthcare facilities. Environmental Service Technicians must be trained to use these tools safely and properly to prevent damage to surfaces and ensure that no harm comes to patients, staff, or visitors.During the selection process you may participate in an OnDemand (pre-recorded) interview that you can complete at your convenience. During the OnDemand interview, a question will appear on your screen, and you will have time to consider each question before responding. You will have the opportunity to re-record your answer to each question – Mayo Clinic will only see the final recording. The complete interview will be reviewed by a Mayo Clinic staff member and you will be notified of next stepsVisa sponsorship is not available for this positionQualificationsMust be 18 years old.
