Responsibilities

Promotes guest relations by interacting and responding to patients, visitors, and staff in an appropriate and professional manner. Answers a multi-line phone system and schedules appointments. Assists with training, orientation, and mentoring of new staff.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent required. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Excellent interpersonal skills. Basic computer/keyboard knowledge. Ability to multi-task. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Ability to work in conjunction with staff in a supportive way to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Ability to address difficult situations with tact and diplomacy. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Proficient computer operation of various software (Word, Excel, ACT!, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet ). Ability to learn new software quickly. Ability to master use of DayBreak EAP software system. HMR. Ability to work with obese patients without being judgmental. Willing to be a role model with healthy behavior.Previous medical office experience preferred. Secondary education or equivalent work experience preferred. Additional languages preferred.
