Job Description

This role serves as the marketing functional leader within the assigned field office leadership team. Responsible for development of cohesive marketing plans that drive the national agenda, enhance our world class brand, optimize the customer experience locally and boost sales in a highly complex / medium complex market. 

Primary Accountabilities: 

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner and trusted advisor for marketing related strategies as a critical member of the Field Office leadership team to drive business performance 
  • Build cohesive national / local marketing strategies and plans that drive the national agenda, enhance our world class brand and optimize the customer experience locally; rooted in data and insights 
  • Execute the national US marketing strategy in local markets; including generating stakeholder alignment with Field leadership, local agencies and operators as required 
  • Hold national and local stakeholders accountable for execution on plans; evaluation of effectiveness and course corrections as required 
  • Strategic leadership of local agency day-to-day performance and execution 
  • Enhance our world class brand and optimize the customer experience locally 
  • Represent the field marketing perspective on national marketing strategy meetings and decision-making processes 
  • Monitor dynamics of multi-cultural markets at a local level 

 

Qualifications

  • BA / BS in Marketing, Business Administration or related field 
  • MBA preferred 
  • Minimum of 8+ years marketing or advertising agency experience; generalist experience across a variety of functions (creative, media, digital, brand, etc.)  
  • Significant leadership experience  
  • Experience working in a franchise or quick-service restaurant environment 
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing strategic marketing plans, initiatives and campaigns  
  • Strong business and financial acumen; experience managing substantial marketing budgets  
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills  
  • Executive presence, influence and negotiation skills to generate internal and external stakeholders' alignment at all levels; ability to influence without formal authority  
  • Agility to respond to changing business and market trends  
  • Deep understanding of both national and local marketing dynamics  
  • Knowledge of current / cutting edge marketing / digital strategies
