If you want to be part of tomorrow's health today, we want to hear from you.Responsibilities:• Explore sizable and intricate datasets to unveil patterns, trends, and insights that have the potential to optimize business operations and enhance the decision-making process.• Leverage predictive analytics, machine learning algorithms, and statistical models to navigate through challenging business scenarios effectively.• Engage in partnerships with cross-functional teams to comprehend business needs and generate data-focused solutions.• Develop and conduct studies to explore hypotheses and validate theoretical models.• Apply state-of-the-art statistical techniques and data mining algorithms to extract actionable insights from structured and unstructured data sets.• Develop and manage data processing systems and pipelines that are designed for scalability and growth.• Employ visual aids, reports, and presentations to communicate results and recommendations to stakeholders, regardless of their technical knowledge.• Remain updated on the latest trends in data science, machine learning, and analytics.• Directed projects from inception to execution with a strong emphasis on delivery and Agile methodologies.• Combine efforts with the Enterprise Analytics team to unify modern strategies and tools.Minimum Requirements• Typically mandates a track record of seven or more years of practical involvement in the development and application of advanced analytics solutions within a corporate contextCritical Skills• Hands-on practice in establishing and delivering Data Solutions for corporate needs• Extensive professional familiarity with Big Data structures, data transmission lines, and data refinement techniques• Acquaintance with data privacy regulations, methodologies, and optimal approaches• Direct experience with data technologies and Cloud solutions, including Hadoop, Hive, Redshift, Big Query, Snowflake, Databricks, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure.• Active participation with analytical software including SAS, R, Python, and Azure ML• Adept at Unix Shell scripting and Dependency-centric job schedulers.• Being proficient in Power BI, Tableau, and Looker is a valuable skill set to have• Skill in understanding API documentation, recognizing relevant API calls, extracting data, and setting up data pipelines and structures that can easily interface with SQL systems.Additional Skills• Having excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with technical teams, corporate leaders, and external collaborators.• Established reputation as a Data Scientist, achieving success through the delivery of data-driven solutions for intricate business problems.• Demonstrated adeptness in developing and rolling out AI/ML solutions at scale.• Well-versed in programming languages like Python and R, with hands-on experience using data manipulation and analysis libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and sci-kit-learn.• Thorough knowledge of statistical principles, machine learning algorithms, and techniques for analyzing data.• Experienced in the application of various analytical tools including clustering, regression analysis, time series analysis, NLP, neural networks, KNN, association rules, decision trees, logistic regression, or equivalent methodologies.• Nurturing a positive and versatile attitude to successfully adjust to different requirements in a fluctuating settingEducation:• Fulfilling the requirements entails possessing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR the appropriate professional backgroundThe candidate must have the legal right to work in the U.S., whether now or in the future, without the need for support from McKesson.We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
