If you want to be part of tomorrow's health today, we want to hear from you.Responsibilities:• Analyze extensive and intricate datasets to reveal patterns, trends, and insights that can refine business operations and support informed decision-making processes.• Harness the power of predictive modeling, machine learning algorithms, and statistical models to tackle intricate business problems with a data-centric approach.• Work jointly with teams from different areas of expertise to understand business requirements and develop data-informed solutions.• Develop and conduct studies to explore hypotheses and validate theoretical models.• Implement advanced statistical analyses and data mining algorithms to derive practical insights from diverse structured and unstructured data sources.• Establish and oversee data pipelines and processing frameworks that have the ability to handle increasing amounts of data.• Deliver research outcomes and proposed actions to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner by employing visualizations, reports, and presentations.• Remain up-to-date on the innovations happening in data science, machine learning, and analytics.• Prioritizing delivery excellence and implementing Agile strategies for project management.• Work together with the Enterprise Analytics team to incorporate innovative methods and technologies.Minimum Requirements• The norm is to seek individuals with at least seven years of practical exposure to building and deploying advanced analytics solutions in the corporate sectorCritical Skills• Practical engagement in developing and delivering Data Solutions for large-scale operations• Extensive professional track record in Big Data operations, data networks, and data interpretation• Comprehension of data privacy standards, methodologies, and top practices• Practical familiarity with data technologies and Cloud platforms such as Hadoop, Hive, Redshift, Big Query, Snowflake, Databricks, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure.• Active participation with analytical software including SAS, R, Python, and Azure ML• Proficient in Unix Shell scripting and Dependency-driven job scheduling tools.• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, and Looker can enhance your skill set in data visualization• Competence in interpreting API specs, identifying pertinent API calls, extracting data, and building data pipelines and database structures that align with SQL requirements.Additional Skills• Having exceptional communication and interpersonal aptitude to connect with and sway technical groups, company decision-makers, and outside associates.• Verified experience as a Data Scientist, delivering solutions based on data analysis to address complex business challenges.• Shown expertise in scaling AI and Machine Learning projects effectively.• Skilled at coding in languages like Python and R, with experience using data manipulation and analysis libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and sci-kit-learn.• Extensive understanding of statistical approaches, machine learning models, and data mining methodologies.• Experienced in the application of various analytical tools including clustering, regression analysis, time series analysis, NLP, neural networks, KNN, association rules, decision trees, logistic regression, or equivalent methodologies.• Adopting a forward-thinking and flexible approach to cater to evolving needs in a dynamic environmentEducation:• Having achieved a degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a comparable subject OR having acquired equivalent experience is sufficient for considerationCandidate must be authorized to work in the U.S., now or in the future, without the support from McKesson.We take pride in the comprehensive compensation plan available at McKesson within the framework of Total Rewards.
