The Customer Success Manager (CSM) is responsible for the day-to-day support of the business development team’s operations and administrative duties. They will be expected to build direct relationships with customers, deliver customer-facing reports, be responsible for baseline reconciliation, updating At-A-Glance, generate or deliver GPO reporting to biopharma, assist with tracker QC, pull contract status reports from SFDC and collaborate with other internal teams where appropriate. They will partner with the business development team to retain and maximize customer engagement with McKesson and provide an excellent customer experience. They will also be responsible for business to business (B2B) management of routine activities with key current and prospective a portfolio of Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology Manufacturer “Partners” to assure that all client needs are adhered to/exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with BDD to update At-A-Glance with the latest contract details by the 10th day of a new quarter.
  • Partner with BDD to provide reporting to biopharma such as monthly or quarterly utilization reports, baseline reconciliation and Tracker QC.
  • Customer Facing: Manage 3-5 biopharma relationships – provide resolution on assortment of problems of moderately complex scope.
  • Manage special projects, which have a short-term focus.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to establish operational efficiency, and field any questions as they relate to general contract details

Minimum Requirements:

  • 4-year degree required or relevant work experience with an emphasis in healthcare sales and marketing
  • 2+ years sales and/or account management experience in the healthcare setting, preferably within the pharmaceutical/biotech or healthcare distribution space

Critical Skills:

  • Consultative selling experience to the specialty physician or biopharma market highly preferred.
  • Experience in and demonstrated understanding of healthcare and distribution, GPO, industry trends, private and public reimbursement models and payer contracting highly desired
  • Experience with pharmaceutical products and buy-and-bill model

Additional Skills:

  • Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
  • Salesforce.com, CRM, SAP, Tableau software experience helpful
  • Motivation to excel and achieve sales results
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and resource management skills
  • Capable of preparing and delivering professional sales presentations to divergent audiences.
  • Ability to identify all decision makers and gain a commitment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and develop relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to navigate a matrix organizational structure

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$78,200 - $130,400
