Panelmatic, Inc. was founded in 1957 in Youngstown, OH to serve manufacturing industries with the design and build of custom electrical, instrument, and pneumatic control panels. In 1989, the majority interest of the company was purchased by an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Our employees are also shareholders with dedication and commitment to the long-term success of the company.

 

Job Summary:

The Human Resources (HR) Specialist supports key HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, compliance, and employee engagement. This role serves as a point of contact for employees and managers, addressing HR inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting a positive workplace culture. The HR Specialist ensures compliance with labor laws, facilitates training and development, and contributes to performance management and retention strategies.

Job Duties:

  • Administer basic benefits and manage benefits programs
  • Coordinate leave administration including PTO, holidays, personal, vacation, parental, military, voting, bereavement, FMLA, STD/D LTD leave, and workman’s comp
  • Generate benefits reports and conduct reporting to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies
  • Conduct monthly training sessions on all benefits for employees
  • Meet with hiring managers weekly to discuss staffing needs, updates and recruitments trends
  • Source, interview, and onboard candidates for various positions
  • Develop comprehensive job descriptions and define physical requirements
  • Conduct wage analysis, and establish Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for recruitment
  • Manage job postings, opening, and closing them promptly
  • ·Conduct exit interviews, manage off-boarding processes, and coordinate IT and company property returns
  • Maintain and update human resources documents, such as organizational charts, employee handbook or directories, or performance evaluations forms
  • Administer and facilitate training programs, including Management 101 and leadership development sessions

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or similar field required
  • Two or more years of experience in HR/recruitment required
  • 20% domestic travel required
