Beth Israel Deaconess Milton is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic C. The Maintenance Mechanic provides general maintenance and other service-oriented tasks throughout the hospital facility. Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager or the Director of Plant Operations, The Maintenance Mechanic shall perform a variety of routine standard servicing and repair operations to hospital equipment, building, or plant accessories.

Hours per week: 32

This is a part-time, evening-shift position.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of a trade school. Degree from a technical school desirable.
• Must have working knowledge of all maintenance trades including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, painting, HVAC, etc. Exposure to situations requiring a working knowledge of skilled contracting crafts and trade is a prerequisite.
