Mechanical Engineer (Entry Level)

Essential Job Functions

Core responsibilities

• Support in quality drive on Engineering Change (EC) management by coordinating with engineers. Support new unit projects and issues.
• Support with data to develop and report the group performance metrics in Tableau (role requires only coordination with Tableau developers).
• Support with planning and scheduling activities for requisition team.
• Support with problem summary reports through other problem-solving tools and techniques.
• Perform RCA where necessary based on statistical data evidence.
• Responsibility can include to coordinate between Customer and Quest teams on requisition engineering tasks.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of Gas Turbines / Steam Turbines / Generators components and accessories.
• Good Knowledge of Engineering Change Management process (ECR/ECO).
• Knowledge of Product Life cycle Management (PLM) using applications such as Teamcenter/ ENOVIA.
• Ability to independently drive customer meetings and Working with global teams, defining priority, performing reviews, and working cross functional coordination with other departments engineers.
• Good hand on experience with MS Excel functionalities.
• Knowledge of Scheduling tools like MS project / Primavera will be added advantage.
• Good communication skills - both written and spoken.
• Ability to quickly learn and execute with minimum guidance.
• Experience in project management.
• Proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD/NX), PLM (Teamcenter/Enovia/Similar) and MS project and office tools desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or another related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in PLM and change processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
