Graphic Designer

Medal is the go-to platform for capturing, sharing, and celebrating gaming moments. We’re building a team of passionate creatives who want to shape the way gamers connect and share their favorite highlights with friends and the world. We’re looking for a Graphic Designer with expertise in motion design and illustration to join our team. This person will work across both marketing and product, creating compelling visual assets that resonate with our community, enhance our platform, and amplify Medal’s brand.


Responsibilities
  • Create dynamic graphics and motion pieces for web, social media, email campaigns, and ads.
  • Design assets for product launches, community events, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Develop in-app illustrations and motion assets that elevate the user experience, like badges!
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative strategies that engage and inspire our audience.
  • Create visuals for onboarding flows, product tutorials, and feature announcements.
  • Partner with product designers to ensure visual consistency across platforms.
  • Help define and evolve Medal’s visual identity through unique illustrations, animations, and design systems.
  • Ensure all creative assets align with Medal’s tone, personality, and brand guidelines.
  • Brainstorm and pitch creative concepts for campaigns and features.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends to bring fresh ideas to the table.


Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in graphic design, with a strong focus on motion design and illustration.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, and design tools like Figma.
  • Experience creating short-form motion graphics for social media and marketing.A strong portfolio showcasing motion work, illustrations, and versatile graphic design.
  • Knowledge of gaming culture and trends is a big plus!The ability to adapt designs for different platforms and audiences while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a self-starter attitude.
