We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President of Customer Engagement to lead and develop our customer engagement strategies. The VP, Customer Engagement, will be responsible for ensuring our clients achieve maximum value from our products and services. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in both the software and advertising industries, demonstrating a proven track record of enhancing customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.


What You Will Do:
  • Responsibility for retention and health of assigned accounts.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive customer engagement strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team focused on customer-centric initiatives and improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive customer-centric initiatives and improvements
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure customer success and satisfaction.
  • Proactively identify and address customer needs, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Advocate for the customer within the organization, ensuring their voice is heard in product development and strategic planning.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor and partner.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all Mediaocean solutions pertinent to the customers' business.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess satisfaction, address concerns, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.


Who You Are:
  • 10+ years of experience in customer engagement, success, or support roles within the advertising technology or software industry.
  • Proven track record of leading and scaling customer-facing teams.
  • Strong understanding of the advertising industry, including media buying, and/or media finance.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead executive level customer conversations.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, advertising, business, information technology or a related field preferred.

$100,000 - $160,000 a year
