We are looking for a friendly and knowledgeable Medical Assistant Instructor to join our team!
As a Medical Assistant Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching, mentoring, and guiding our students through their training as medical assistants. Our curriculum provides a comprehensive understanding of medical procedures, laboratory and diagnostic testing, patient care, and medical office operations. You will also prepare students to take the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification exam, and help them to achieve success in the field.
Responsibilities

• Prepare classroom and teaching materials, including lesson plans and handouts.
• Present lectures and conduct discussions to promote learning and understanding.
• Assess student progress, assign homework, and administer quizzes and exams.
• Create and grade assignments, projects and other course requirements.
• Provide academic and career advising to students, and motivate them to succeed.
• Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and grading data.
• Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of curriculum, teaching methods, and materials.

Requirements

• Current Medical Assistant certification from an accredited organization.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a healthcare setting as a Medical Assistant.
• Knowledge of current medical procedures, practices, and laboratory testing.
