Rady Children's Physician Management Services (RCPMS) offers exciting opportunities for qualified candidates to join our rapidly growing organization. We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Rady Children's Hospital and Health Center with just over 500 employees. RCPMS supports primary care pediatricians with 32 office locations throughout San Diego and Southern Riverside Counties.

This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

• The Welcome Center Representative is fully trained to handle all phases of new patient registration and customer service. The Welcome Center Representative is the first point of contact for new patients and sets the tone for the new patient experience. They are responsible for assisting new patients in selecting a medical office and provider, facilitating the new patient registration materials and scheduling the first patient appointment.
• The Scheduling Representative is responsible for maintaining effective regional scheduling work flow. The Scheduling Representative possesses advanced knowledge of the scheduling functions of the sites within their assigned region and makes sure the scheduling is done correctly and to RCPMS standards with specific focus on effective communication with the sites within the region.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience working with the public either in person or on the phone.
• Medical front office experience preferred.
• Medical Administration Program from an accredited institution may be substituted for customer service experience.
• Excellent customer service skills via telephone.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

The reasonably expected starting hourly wage range for this position is $20-$22 depending on qualifications including education and relevant experience

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
