Medical Records Technician - Health Information Management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate’s degree in health information management or equivalent.

JOB SUMMARY:

To provide specialized technical skills or diversified clerical duties associated with medical record procedures.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Processes requests for release of confidential information for all purposes.

• Analyzes complex data for completeness and accuracy.

• Performs specialized and diversified clerical duties associated with medical record procedures.

• Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.

MARGINAL OR PERIODIC JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Performs related duties as required.
