Registered Nurse, PRN – Out-patient Primary Care / Family Medicine

We are actively seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for our clinic located in Albuquerque, NM. This out-patient primary care clinic cares for patients of all ages; PRN Registered Nurses care for patients under the supervision of a Charge Nurse on an “as needed” basis. Must be comfortable drawing blood and prior EMR experience is required. Clinic hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday and PRN shifts will always be during these hours. NO WEEKENDS, NO NIGHTS, NO LATE HOURS, NO 12-HOUR SHIFTS.

Required to work a minimum of 16 hours per month (can pick up more shifts with availability).

Required to work the day before 1 summer and 1 winter holiday and 2-3 days of spring break week.

Winter Holidays: Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day

Summer Holidays: Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day

Spring Break: Will depend on local school spring break weeks and may include 1-2 weeks of time.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Nursing program preferred but will also consider an associate degree as well.

Current Registered Nurse License, New Mexico

Minimum 1-2 years prior nursing experience (direct patient care)
