PRN Ultrasound Sonographer, RVT or RVS

Experienced Ultrasound Sonographer needed for PRN position. Out-patient Primary Care / Health and Wellness Clinics. Shifts will always be Monday-Friday, between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm covering for full-time Sonographers who are on PTO, etc. These shifts are often scheduled in advance, but at times could be needed on an ASAP/emergent basis. Must be willing to work between a total of 4 different clinic locations: Westover Hills (Culebra & Rogers Road), Fair Oaks (IH-10 and Ralph Fair Road), Schertz (IH-35 and Schertz Parkway) and our brand-new clinic located in the South area (Roosevelt and 410).

The Ultrasound Sonographer uses ultrasound high-frequency sound waves to take images of the body's internal organs and tissues to assist physicians with diagnosing and monitoring a variety of conditions and diseases. Types of scans will include Carotid Intima-Media Thickness Tests (CIMT) / Carotids, Abdomen, Bladder, Kidney, Testicle/Scrotum, Thyroid, Extremities, and soon will be adding Thrombosis and Liver. Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Sonography and ARDMS Certification is required.
