The Brain Modulation business is going through an exciting time of rapid innovation and revenue growth. We are hiring a product manager to become the SME for all surgical innovations, drive high-impact marketing campaigns, support portfolio management and lead global commercial launches. You will be joining a team of high-performing marketers to accelerate our growth and bring our innovations to more patients who could benefit from DBS therapy. Our vision requires bold leaders. If you are seeking a career that is challenging, energizing, and rewarding, we hope you will consider joining us!The Product Manager – Deep Brain Stimulation will take point in developing our surgical product strategy, focusing on surrounding the neurosurgeon. This individual will own product positioning and messaging, global product launches, portfolio management and optimization, customer engagement, and HCP marketing programs. Additionally, this individual will own the commercialization of new surgical products and software releases globally. This experienced individual will partner with the sales team, regional marketers, and cross-functional teams to accelerate our revenue and market share growth. This will be a high impact role to increase our influence and mindshare with DBS neurosurgeons globally.An ideal candidate will effectively lead and work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This person will have a demonstrated track-record of successful commercial launch experience and portfolio management. They will have the expertise to drive flawless field execution of marketing campaigns and will have experience developing and executing on marketing strategies and tactics to drive meaningful growth in our business.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.• Become the undisputed SME for our surgical portfolio within the DBS marketing organization. Develop into a strong liaison with third party manufacturers of surgical equipment we co-sell in the DBS space• Develop effective strategies to influence neurosurgeons and grow the business with minimal direction• Serve as the in-house expert of our surgical portfolio within the DBS marketing organization• Drive compelling product marketing campaigns to influence neurosurgeon decision making• Function as key interface with upstream marketing• Translate data and analytics into strategies and track the performance of our portfolio and campaigns• Own competitive intelligence for core surgical products, understand near and long-term implications for Medtronic DBS, and develop product strategies and tactics to defend against or overcome competitive actions• Foster relationships with global KOLs• Capture voice of customer and identify needs and opportunities to drive effective marketing programs, campaigns, and future product planning in the DBS surgical spaceMust Have: Minimum Requirements• Bachelor’s degree required• 4 years’ experience in a marketing, technical, clinical, sales, sales support role (2 years with Advanced Degree)Nice to Have• MBA or Advanced degree• Experience in medical device or healthcare marketing• Medtronic and/or Neuroscience or Neurosurgery experience• Demonstrated experience with downstream marketing• Commercial launch experiencePhysical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. PR) locations (USD):$101,600.00 - $152,400.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
