Sales Manager, Remarketing (Remote)

Supports Merchants Fleet Remarketing operations by uncovering new opportunities to remarket vehicles through existing Merchants’ client base or through prospective accounts.

 

What your day looks like:

  • Deploys prospect strategies and activities within assigned territory to generate new opportunities to purchase used vehicles and equipment.
  • Leverages existing Merchants client base and reputation to explore, introduce and grow remarketing efforts.
  • Works directly with operations to ensure all aspects of accelerated remarketing projects are fulfilled in a timely manner (e.g., pick-ups, pricing, title receipt from clients, payment, etc.).
  • Conducts client and prospect visits and deliver engaging and persuasive presentations.
  • Serves as subject matter expert on company remarketing capabilities to assist with client presentations and calls.
  • Develops relationships with outside sales department personnel to assist in penetrating new markets and securing new clients.
  • Utilizes Salesforce for reporting, activity, and communication purposes.

  • Strong written and public speaking skills, with the ability to be an effective spokesperson and ambassador
  • Outstanding sales, customer, and people skills
  • High energy level and highly motivated
  • Team player with the ability to lead and inspire others
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical skills to extract data and draw accurate conclusions
  • Ability to travel at least 50%
  • Ability to work as part of a team while accomplishing departmental and company goals
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently with moderate to minimal direction
  • Proficient in the use of all office equipment including personal computers and related software applications

The Expertise you have:

  • A minimum of five years’ experience is preferred in sales or a related field within the fleet leasing and management industry or other related fields
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline, however acceptable relevant experience may substitute for education requirement
  • Possession of or ability to obtain and maintain a valid State Driver's License
