Head of Security

Merge is looking for an ambitious leader to join as the Head of Security, responsible for managing security programs, including infrastructure, compliance, and security automation.

Skills

4-6+ years of security engineering experience
Ownership or leadership in security areas at previous organizations
Experience with coding in at least one major programming language
Thorough understanding of networking and infrastructure

Responsibilities

Create and drive the security roadmap
Manage compliance automation programs
Ensure a security-oriented culture across the organization
Manage Bug Bounty Program
Implement security controls across Merge
Assist with security reviews, threat modeling, disaster recovery practices, and code reviews
