Associate SEO Strategist

MERGE promotes health, wealth, and happiness by merging storytelling with technology. They are looking for an Associate SEO Strategist to support the SEO team and work with clients to optimize organic traffic and improve SEO positions.

Skills

1-3 years SEO experience
Experience with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, etc.
Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
Experience with inbound marketing solutions and project management tools
Exceptional organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

Support Strategists, Sr. Strategists, and Managers on the SEO team
Compile client deliverables and speak to them during client calls
Perform content gap analysis, SERP landscape analysis, and audience analysis
Recommend and implement SEO improvements like keyword research and link building
Research and analyze competitor advertising links
Assist with building and optimizing internal linking strategy
Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, etc., to improve SEO positions
Monitor traffic performance and site analytics
Stay up to date with SEO industry trends
