Capacity Planner, Strategic Planning & Analytic

Required Skills: Capacity Planner, Strategic Planning & Analytic Responsibilities: • Work closely with our infrastructure and capacity engineering teams to analyze demand and service needs, perform analysis on quantitative and qualitative trade-offs on solutions, and drive actionable recommendations on new data center strategies. • Develop KPIs, reporting processes, and data visualizations to deliver insights across several planning areas. • Work cross-functionally to define problem statement, collect data, build analytical models and make recommendations. • Perform financial, statistical, and quantitative data analysis on data center supply strategies. • Identify and develop best practices for analytics, generation of KPIs and visualizations to highlight trends and develop insights. • Create quantitative models reporting business trends across the data center space, automate data collection, develop and maintain analytical models, and generate reports and dashboards that measure the performance of Meta’s data centers. • Work with the data center teams and various stakeholders to identify requirements, analyze data, and develop strategic playbooks that pave the way for Meta’s future. • Analyze data to identify trends that drive data-based decision making for the business. • Lead and support various ad hoc projects, as needed, in support of Meta’s data center strategy. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: • Requires a Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Foreign equivalent accepted. • Requires 24 months of experience involving the following: • * Forecasting: forecasting techniques, trend analysis / market research, and future demand and supply projections based on historical data • * Data Analysis and Modeling, including analyzing large amounts of data to make informed decisions about resource allocation • * Financial Acumen, including financial implications of a strategy/investment decision (budgeting, cost analysis, and return on investment ROI) • * Project Management, including leading cross-functional teams initiatives for alignment and execution • * Problem Solving, including identifying bottlenecks, optimizing resource allocation, and troubleshooting issues related to capacity constraints • * Effective communication skills, including conveying complex technical concepts and making recommendations • * Risk Management, including managing and mitigating risks associated with resource shortages or over-provisioning Public Compensation: $156,800/year to $176,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits Industry: Internet Equal Opportunity: Meta is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
