AGRONOMY SALES SPECIALIST - NORTHFIELD, MN

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Agronomy Sales Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in crop protection, product sales, and agronomic expertise. Exceptional communication and leadership skills are paramount as you will be interfacing with clients and leading sales initiatives within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Drive sales of fertilizer, seed, and chemical products, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert agronomic advice and support.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and developments, continuously enhancing product knowledge and market insights.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior sales staff, fostering a culture of excellence and achievement.

Compensation:

• Competitive salary range of $75,000 - $90,000, plus commission.

• Proven experience in crop protection and product sales within the agriculture industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Leadership experience preferred, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
• CCA certification preferred, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive knowledge of agronomy practices, seed genetics, and soil science.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
