The role We are seeking an experienced Client Success Manager to play a... critical role in market expansion and platform growth with our current and future portfolio of commercial real estate owners. As a senior member within the Network Growth organization, you will be responsible for executing the strategy to expand Metropolis's business within our existing customer base across nearly 40 markets in the United States. You will be responsible for leading day to day account management and relationship development with landlords and property managers, including hosting monthly business reviews, building and delivering monthly financial reports, and coordinating with Metropolis' cross functional teams (finance, operations, launch, and growth) to ensure every Metropolis location is performing profitably and at or above budget. You likely have: An ownership mentality and a desire to build for the long haul. The capacity to learn quickly and adapt to a challenging, entrepreneurial atmosphere. High emotional intelligence and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to generate enthusiasm and confidence from others. You love talking to customers and building relationships that are mutually beneficial. You are outgoing, organized, and analytical. You love to put processes around things and can manage many complex relationships and projects simultaneously. Strong business acumen with exceptional relationship management, business development, and 3-5 years of account management experience - experience within the commercial real estate industry is a plus but not required. An appreciation for process and deep experience growing both consumer and enterprise products. What you will do: Serve as the primary point of contact for Metropolis' current commercial real estate clients including Starwood, DivcoWest, Lincoln Property Company, and dozens more, with an initial focus on Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, and Washington D.C. You will guide our clients through each stage of the Metropolis experience, with the key focus on a successful implementation following the signing of an agreement. Ensure our current and future clients are successful and receive value from the Metropolis platform. Assemble and deliver client-facing monthly financial reports, built in partnership with our finance, operations, and growth teams. Host monthly or quarterly business review meetings with strategic clients. Develop new account management processes, coordinate and drive execution across cross functional teams, and communicate progress and risks to account success and potential churn to internal stakeholders and leadership. Inform the Metropolis product development roadmap based on landlord and property manager needs so that we design new products with a customer-centric lens - you will ultimately be the voice of the customer in product development discussions. Manage a suite of pilots that help refine our overall implementation model, inform which supporting capabilities need to be developed or strengthened. You will help drive customer references and case studies. Report into our Head and Network Growth where you will be accountable for key performance metrics including existing account NPS, CSAT, performance to budget, and existing account expansion. Build out a team of at least 2 direct reports within your first 12 months.
