Portfolio Manager

Metropolitan Commercial Bank is seeking a Junior Portfolio Manager to assist in the management of a growing commercial real estate loan portfolio.

Engage in daily dialogue with Commercial Lenders (CLs) and Portfolio Manager (PM) regarding portfolio management and property related concerns.
Assist in gathering financial information, including financial statements, rent rolls, tax returns, and any other information required to maintain the bank files updated.
Prepare annual reviews, including property performance status and tracking of covenant compliance requirements.
Assist the PM in the preparation and gathering of updated information for the quarterly loan review Memos (Watchlist/Criticized loans).
Assist PM with quarterly reviews of the Transitional Loan portfolio, including property performance updates and reporting requirements.
Develop a quarterly action plan for loans coming up for maturity and/or renewal.
Prepare approval Memos with respect to maturity extensions, modification of existing loan terms, and covenant waivers.
Coordinate with PM and CLs to obtain outstanding information requested in connection with bank audits.
