We are looking to hire a Manager, Cloud Solution Architect Team to join our team.The Microsoft Federal organization was established to address the unique mission, legal/regulatory requirements, and procurement rules and processes of the United States Government (USG). Microsoft Federal personnel can expect to serve in various roles in the Microsoft Federal organization during the course of their career to meet evolving USG needs, regardless of segment – Civilian, Defense, or intelligence community.We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate leader to manage and develop a team of Infrastructure Cloud Solution Architects (CSA) to drive digital transformation through tech intensity at scale for global customers. This is a customer-facing role, managing the team that is the face of overall technical relationship and strategy between the customer and Microsoft. Your team will own the Azure infrastructure customer engagements, including architecture design, implementation, and production. You can help us achieve our mission.Responsibilities• Hire, on-board, develop, coach, mentor and evaluate Azure Infrastructure Architects and Engineers. Set a clear bar for role excellence, collaboration, and delivering impact.• Build and maintain a diverse and inclusive team of Azure Infrastructure professionals with a passion for exceeding customer expectations.• Must possess exceptional cross-team collaboration and communication. Partner with all required Microsoft stakeholders to land and drive role clarity, account coverage, project assignment and effective cross-team collaboration.• Enable your team to establish customer relationships with executives in Infrastructure roles while establishing your own. The goal is to create a comprehensive partnership with the customer throughout their ownership lifecycle that maximizes usage.• Ensure your team delivers high quality production deployments that are resilient and successful.• Drive operational excellence, including timely consumption opportunity management and high-quality reporting and insights.• Engage with the area’s most strategic customers as executive sponsor to accelerate Azure adoption and help our customers improve their infrastructure posture.Customer Centricity• Customer Satisfaction – Lead your team to deliver positive Customer Satisfaction, and coach them to become trusted advisors to customers and partners, by leveraging domain experience to enable defined Customer Success Plan outcomes.• Customer/Partner Insights: Coach the team to provide feedback & insights from customers/partners back to the relevant MS teams including Product Groups, to enable continuous improvement.Business Impact• Manage the consumption business of Solutions and Support to achieve the business goals and deliver customer value: Coach the team to develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results by working with technical decision makers to ensure they understand Microsoft's security value proposition and get value from their investment in the Microsoft technology through deep business understanding of the solution plays and customer scenarios for your solution area• Accelerate Resolution of Customer Blockers: Coach the team to identify resolutions to issues blocking go-live of customer success projects by leveraging technical subject matter experience. Support them to lead the technical conversations with customers to drive value from their MS investments, by delivering all work according to MS best practices & policies and using repeatable IP.People Leadership• Model our culture and values by leading your team through change, helping them understand the business model and/or role changes• Coach your team on driving customer outcomes to help your team adapt and learn• Care for your team by engaging in skills and capability discussions, understanding each individual's unique talents, and building the right mix of skills to achieve your business goalsTechnical Leadership• Learn It All: Role model the Self Learner mindest through continuous alignment of individual & team’s skilling to team/area demands and Customer Success goals• Accelerate customer outcomes: Coach your team to engage in relevant communities to share experience, contribute to IP creation, priotitize IP re-sure and learn from others to help accelerate your customers transformation journey.• Embody our Culture and ValuesQualificationsRequired/Minimum Qualifications• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting• OR equivalent experience.• 3+ years people management experienceOther RequirmentsThe successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment action up to and including termination.Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment.Microsoft Cloud Background CheckThis position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.US CitizenshipCitizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local United States government agency customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport, or other approved documents, or verified US government clearance.Cloud Solution Architecture M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $129,200 - $248,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $162,000 - $268,900 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
