Job Description

The offer is designed mainly to students from the following universities: 

University of Virginia, Johns Hopkins University, Virginia Tech, University of Maryland, George Mason University.

Are you ready to take on exciting projects and make a real difference? We're looking for talented interns to join our Information Security team. You'll have the opportunity to play a key role in securing Strategy systems and products with cutting-edge security tools. and contribute to our ongoing success. 

As an Information Security Team Intern at Strategy, you’ll be part of an agile Information Security team, providing our customers with the most powerful, scalable, and user-friendly platforms for analytics, mobility, and security. You’ll play a key role in securing Strategy systems and products with cutting edge security tools. 

You’ll have the opportunity to join one of the exciting teams below: 

Security Operations team 

The Security Operations team is responsible for securing Strategy’s on-prem and cloud systems using the latest security technologies. This team manages our security posture via automating our most commonly executed tasks.  

Security Engineering team 

The Security Engineering team is responsible for testing our systems and products for security issues and providing guidance for vulnerability mitigation, architecture and design. ​ 

Policy & Compliance team 

The Policy & Compliance team ensures our program is in0line with industry best practices and various standards which provide additional assurance to our clients about our security posture.  

Technologies you could use: 

Shell scripting (ksh, bash), Python, PHP, Perl, HTML5, CSS, Windows Server, Linux, Mac.  

 

Qualifications 

You should bring the following skills and experience: 

  • Currently pursing Bachelors in Computer Science or related field (targeting December 2025 or May 2026 graduates) 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Creative analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Process oriented and ability to pay close attention to detail 

  • Team oriented individual
