About Middesk

Middesk’s mission is to make it easier for businesses to work together through building the best-in-class business identity platform. Our APIs allow B2B companies to access the information, insights, and documentation they need to onboard and transact with their customers. Our products help product, risk, and finance teams make informed regulatory compliance and commercial credit decisions, confirm that suppliers meet federal and state licensing requirements, and register their customers with the necessary government agencies.

About the role

We're looking for a strategic full-cycle Recruiter to join our team. As the third recruiter on our team, you will play a role in supporting the success of our recruiting engine. In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting roles across various teams. We’re looking for a generalist who likes to collaborate and connect with technical and business/GTM talent and teams! You will partner closely with hiring managers, acting as a trusted advisor to understand their needs and fill open roles. Your efforts will directly contribute to building high-performing teams and supporting Middesk's ambitious growth.

What you'll do

  • Own and manage the entire recruitment process for assigned, high volume (evergreen) roles. Develop effective strategies, source and attract top talent, coordinate interviews, and negotiate offers to secure the best candidates.

  • Represent Middesk externally, sharing our story and what makes us a great place to work. You’ll define and ensure an exceptional candidate experience from the first contact through onboarding.

  • Maintain a steady flow of qualified candidates for each search, ensuring we meet our hiring needs with a focus on diversity and inclusion.

  • Partner with our lead recruiters to evaluate and improve our recruiting systems and processes, making them more efficient and effective for both candidates and hiring managers.

  • Ensure interview panels are well-prepared and deliver a consistent, fair, and exceptional candidate experience. Develop and standardize thoughtful interview processes.

  • Continue to refine and develop your recruiting expertise, skills, and contributions by learning from and partnering with our lead recruiters.

What we’re looking for

  • 2-3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally across various technical and/or business functions or the ability to quickly learn and credibly recruit new profiles of talent

  • Experience supporting rapid growth - sourcing and filing multiple roles on the same team as well as roles across teams

  • You have a knack for building strong relationships and trust with both candidates and hiring managers, enhancing the overall recruitment process.

  • You’re ready to dive into any task, no matter how big or small, to effectively manage and support the recruiting function as the second recruiter on our team.

  • You have an analytical mindset and recognize the importance of tracking metrics to inform and optimize the recruiting process.

  • You are highly organized, working with a strong sense of urgency, and can quickly prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • You’re enthusiastic about contributing to an in-person candidate experience, thriving in a collaborative office setting in either San Francisco or New York.
