WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

As a Middleware Operations Engineer at JAGGAER, you’ll play a mission-critical role within our elite Production Support team. You’ll be entrusted with supporting our production environment; proactively identifying and implementing improvements, analyzing multifaceted issues and resolving production emergencies. From managing heterogeneous services on Linux VM environments to fine-tuning our Web applications and services for maximum performance to configuring and supporting cutting edge cloud-based applications, many exciting and challenging opportunities await.

Principal Responsibilities:

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Application/service administration of production Linux servers
Management of the production, staging, and development environments
Administration of customer-facing Applications and Services utilizing several different technology stacks
Configuration Management in a microservices environment
Maintain software build and deploy tools and processes
Support and maintenance of both VM-based and cloud-based services, APIs, and storage
On-call for production emergencies

Position Requirements:

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

5 years of relevant industry experience in Production Operations
2-3 years minimum experience with microservices and service-oriented architectures
Experience supporting a mid-to-large-sized production environment
Highly refined ability to independently analyze and remediate server/service-related issues
Excellent understanding of application and internet protocols
