Operations Support Specialist

Bridgestone HosePower, LLC is the Premier distributor of hydraulic and industrial hose products for over 39 years. Due to current, as well as projected growth, HosePower is looking for a forward thinking, team and action oriented Operations Support Specialist to join our Swedesboro, NJ Team. At this branch we produce hydraulic hose assemblies at our counter and provide “On-Site” Mobile service hydraulic hose assembly replacement. In addition, we cover a wide range of industries and industrial hoses. Our typical customers are involved in food processing, tank truck haulers, aggregate, material handling, equipment rental, waste, and construction.

Responsibilities:

• Providing support and direction of the overall operations, administration, distribution, and sales functions for the branch.
• Serve as point of contact for HosePower Regional Outside Sales team to assist with quotes, bids and order entry.
• Communicate with production, sales and our customers on any issues impacting our ability to meet the acknowledged ship dates, or other order related questions.
• Facilitate the scheduling of production, expediting late vendor shipments, find additional sourcing if needed and updating our system so all team members can see the most current status of the order(s) to meet our customers needs.
• Support all branch manager directives – particularly when branch manager is off premises.

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in Business or related field or 1-3 years’ experience in the manufacuring or distribution industry
• Intermediate to Advanced in MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook), with a willingness to learn new software programs
• Ability to multi-task, and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with industrial distribution, preferably fluid power components preferred
• Must be able to work with a wide variety of people and personalities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
