Digital Marketing Intern - Part Time

Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY:We are looking for a Digital Marketing Intern to join our Corporate Communications group in our Midmark Center office located in Dayton, OH. This internship will provide excellent experience for a current or recent student. We anticipate this intern working 20-30 hours per week and we are flexible and happy to work around class schedules and school obligations.This internship position will assist with various members of the Corporate Communications team with marketing and communications related projects helping to build the Midmark brand. This individual should have a passion for writing with excellent grammar skills, and also have some experience with the most popular social media platforms.RESPONSIBILITIES:Create, edit, proofread and manage web content for Midmark’s internet and intranet environments• Provide support and assistance in activating social media channels including writing copy, optimizing / publishing posts through social media schedule tool, and using social analytics tools to provide reporting• Assist in the distribution or delivery of marketing materials both traditional and digital• Use a Web Content Management System, primarily Sitefinity and Sharepoint, to implement content changes on websites• Assist with data quality clean-up of data records to ensure effective email campaigns• Assists Corporate Communications team with project plans and maintaining timelines• Follow Marketing branding guidelines to provide consistent design in all elements• Other duties as assignedEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:• Working toward Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or Marketing with some writing experience and social media / digital marketing experience.COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with engaging presentation skills.• High level of accuracy and attention to detail; excellent grammar and punctuation.• Demonstrated social networking experience• Awareness of current social media trends and popular social media platforms• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize and re-prioritizeAbout UsFounded in 1915, Midmark Corporation is the only company transforming healthcare experiences through innovative design within the medical, dental and animal health environments.
