Financial Analyst

Job DescriptionThe Financial Analyst - Channel Profitability will be responsible for overseeing and supporting Milwaukee Tool's Industrial and National Account channels. Key activities include top-to-bottom P&L management of key customers, financial oversight of field sales teams, process improvement of internal workflows, and executive communication of financial results and KPIs.Duties And ResponsibilitiesProvide financial support and direction to Sales & Channel commercial leadership overseeing key IC/NA customers.Effectively communicate assumptions made in budget, forecast, and stretch opportunity scenarios.Oversee, plan, and support field team activities including merchandising initiatives, customer conversion programs, and Sales Specialist Teams.Review and understand customer/distributor program offerings and the impact to channel profitability.Provide post-mortem analysis for all commercial investments including but not limited to topline growth, promotional offering, mix analysis, commercial incentives, and pricing decisions.Partner with sales leads to provide financial analysis/recommendations through the lens of P&L viability on incremental growth opportunities with respect to current business needs.Update reporting tools and dashboards, streamline and automate reporting processes.Identify knowledge gaps and develop tools, processes & models to provide meaningful information to internal customers.Demonstrate a commitment to the process of continuous improvement. Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities and streamline processes.Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA a plusOne to two years’ experience in an accounting or finance related field.Excellent mathematical and analytical skillsAble to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization (written, verbal, presentation, and listening)Proficient in Microsoft applications, with advanced Excel knowledgeSelf-motivatedAbility to work well on diverse, cross-functional teamsAble to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
