Lead UX Strategist

Minted is seeking a Lead UX Strategist to join the multidisciplinary UX team responsible for our digital experience across web and app. The UX team partners extensively with Product, Engineering, Merchandising, Product Marketing, Brand and Creative teams to support the Product organization's roadmap and define Minted’s future capabilities. • Maintain an active and evolving connection to the needs of our customers and artists
• Lead a UX Strategy pod that defines Minted’s future user needs and related product opportunity spaces 
• Create an evolving set of principles and guides for content, language, and positioning across all of Minted
• Concept prototypes for new features and frameworks that both drive and inform business strategy
• Help determine prioritization of design work based on a deep understanding of present and future user needs 
• Build tools and systems to communicate the direction of Minted customers back to the business
• Collaborate with UX Design, Product, Product Marketing, Merchandising, Engineering, Data Science, and leadership to scope and solve Minted’s toughest and most unexplored  business challenges

• A Senior/Lead/Manager level UX Strategist who has significant experience leading teams and addressing high-stakes business challenges 
• Passionate about building an iterative and imaginative environment where new ideas can flourish
• A mentor or people manager who enjoys helping others meet their potential, and equally enjoys rolling up their sleeves to dive into the work
• A highly skilled communicator who knows how to challenge ideas gracefully 
• An open collaborator who listens and enjoys  having their ideas challenged
• A storyteller — you bridge the gap between current & future user journeys 
• An expert in user-centric design, visual design, user behavior, interactions, brand, and content best practices 
• Deeply versed in design trends across app, mobile web, desktop, tablet, etc 
• Able to oversee and advise full research cycles, and familiar with best practices in addition to qualitative and quantitative methods 

• Deep user empathy and a natural curiosity for what drives behavior 
• An interest in educating partners on how to make the most of UX Strategy—leading Minted’s first UX Strategy pod, you’ll set the standard 
• Significant experience tying UX strategy to headway on tough business challenges and consumer marketing 

Compensation: 

The compensation range for the role applies to employment offers from Minted. Our employment offers fall between the minimum and midpoint of the range to allow for continued salary growth during your employment at Minted. The upper half of the range accommodates this growth and supports our intention to create an environment that encourages lasting relationships between Minted and our employees.

Geo Base Full Salary Range 0 - Includes SF Bay Area $143,312 $188,097

Geo Base Full Salary Range 1 - All non-SF CA, DC, NY - $131,847- $173,049

Geo Base Full Salary Range 2 - Includes CO, IL, MA, MD, NJ, OR, RI, TX, VT, VA, WA - $121,815-$159,882

Geo Base Full Salary Range 3 - Includes AL, AK, AZ, AR, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, NV, NH, NC, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, WI, WV, WY- $111,783 -$146,716

Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, associated job responsibilities, and/or other business or organizational needs.

This role is eligible for an annual performance bonus and stock options.
