The Advisor Market and Operations Analytics plays a pivotal role in leading complex business intelligence and data analysis and fostering collaboration and partnership across various business areas. Your work will influence market and operations policy and process enhancements, contributing to the overall improvement of markets and operations performance.. As an Advisor Market and Operations Analytics, you will have the opportunity to:Lead the evaluation of market trends and performance across multiple data domains and time horizons to identify and communicate technical and strategic insights across organization and externally.Work collaboratively with various business areas and partner with Independent Market Monitor (IMM) to enable and optimize data analytical services needed across market and operations and influence successful completion of actionable policy and process enhancements.Support ad-hoc data analysis of relevant operations and market events, Board of Directors metrics and reportingLiaison between the Market Operations, System Operations, Market and Grid Strategy, and Data and Analytics Enablement divisions.We are looking for energetic and dedicated employees who have:Bachelor’s degree in, Business or Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering or related field, (or 5 years relevant work experience equivalency) and additional 6~8 years of working experience (required)Specific experience within any of the following: SQL, Python, Tableau, PowerBI (required)Master’s or PhD degree (preferred)Previous experience in electricity markets, energy trading or a related field (preferred)Previous experience with ISO/RTO markets and operations (preferred)Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge. We would also prefer candidates with the following:Python, SQL and no-SQL Database experience (Oracle and MS Azure preferred).In depth knowledge of electricity market fundamentals and rules of RT/DA markets, capacity markets, FTR/ARR markets and ancillary services markets.Proficient in visual analytics software such as Power BI and Tableau.
