Job Title: Director of Patient Care Services (DPCS)

Location: Mission Home Health, Grover Beach

Overview:

Mission Home Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Patient Care Services (DPCS) to join our Grover Beach location. As the DPCS, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical services of our home health division, ensuring that we deliver top-notch care that aligns with our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct and coordinate all clinical services, ensuring high standards of patient care.

- Provide leadership, guidance, and counseling to Clinical Supervisors and Nursing Supervisors to enhance home health care services.

- Assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

- Collaborate with the Executive Director in budget preparation and administration.

- Oversee the performance evaluations of clinical staff and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

- Develop and implement orientation programs for new staff and facilitate ongoing in-service and education programs.

Qualifications:

- Current RN licensure in the state of California.

- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; a Master’s degree in healthcare is preferred.

- Minimum of three years of management experience in home health, with at least one year in a supervisory or administrative role.

- Strong clinical decision-making skills, knowledge of Quality Management, and experience with CHAP standards.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
