Project Manager Team Lead - Digital Delivery

Here at Mito Digital, we love creating clever things: apps, websites, and other complex digital solutions for telcos, lottery companies, and aviation brands all over the world. We are super proud of the things we put together and have a lot of fun while doing it. But you can never get enough of pride and fun, can you? We certainly can’t.

Our Digital Delivery Team is already quite good at designing and developing cutting-edge stuff for our inspiring clients. As the team grows, so does the need for someone who can both drive projects hands-on and guide the project management team with experience and care. That’s where you come in—as our Project Manager Team Lead. You’ll not only lead by example, but also make sure everything runs smoothly across the board. Sounds good? Then please nod, or even better, start scrolling.

Your tasks will be…

  • Managing challenging mid- and long-term digital projects - and by “challenging” we mean that you do not only have to forward emails. You need to carefully balance our team's best interest, our client's satisfaction, and our business objectives. The challenge is to keep everyone happy.
  • Taking ownership of the project delivery. It should always be on time, on budget, and of great quality. Not just in a case study but in real life as well. We don’t need you to design or develop web-based solutions and applications, but it’s more than welcome if you understand them and do not get intimidated by opening Figma or Jira.
  • Translating client needs into an actual brief. Don’t worry about the specs, you will always have a sidekick from the design or development team by your side.
  • Managing the day-to-day activities of your PM team (yes, that includes the fun part, too.) Motivating them to achieve the organization’s goals. We have coffee (during work) and beer (after work) as motivational tools – the others are up to you.
  • Helping team members in their career development and ambitious yet realistic goals (although none of us would mind a trip to the Moon).
  • Conducting performance reviews and regular feedback. Again, you’ll be walking by them.
  • Collaborating with designers (UX and UI), also with full stack developers
  • Running (and sometimes running to) status meetings to ensure smooth operations, keeping track of all projects and their progress
  • Participating in the selection process of new team members, helping with their onboarding and being their go-to person. Except it’s you who’ll go to them first, aiding them every step of the way.

What we expect from you…

  • You have managed complex digital projects in the last few years, from discovery to release and follow-up and have an extensive understanding of project and program management principles, methods and techniques.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to support the effective and optimal performance of team members.
  • You are very comfortable with operating at leadership levels - in terms of planning, risk management, resource allocation, decision preparation etc.
  • A human-centric yet business-focused attitude. That’s what lies at the root of everything we do.
  • To excel independently. We rely on your knowledge and ability to set priorities and solve the upcoming challenges right before they turn into issues, and then problems.
  • Experience in team management. (A size of a class. We mean a diverse class of people with diverse talents and skills.)
  • You have excellent communication skills in Hungarian and English. Also, be comfortable with presenting projects in English to our customers.
  • Be comfortable using Jira / Asana / Scoro as they are our second best friends when it comes to project management. Excel and spreadsheets, too - you won’t write macros but you should be able to use the different functions.
  • Proactive mindset and an eye for assessing, measuring, and improving performance.
  • Be a team player.

We’ll be exceptionally happy if you...

  • You’ve survived at least one or two workshops as an organizer, and have maybe even liked those a little.
  • We don’t need you to be someone with a UX design or development background (nor a planned future), but if you have seen wireframes and technical specifications before, that will definitely help you with your PM tasks.

What We Offer:

Work on global projects that make a real difference, from travel bookings to creative advertising.
