We're hiring a Feature Engineer who will help us improve the foundations of our core "detection engine."

In this role you will:

Team & Work Summary:

Our Detection Engineering team powers the core functionality our customers rely on to identify and stop the complex and adversarial, often socially-engineered, email-based attacks ravaging their businesses.

It is home to ~40 world-class engineers with broad experiences spanning across household name "big tech" companies, bleeding edge security companies, AdTech teams, Trust & Safety orgs, and everywhere in between. Who, working collaboratively and iteratively, have created a completely novel & disruptive "ML-first" product that continues to exceed what customers even thought was possible from their "email security" provider.

The Feature Engineer on this team will primarily be responsible for improving the detection product by designing high impact features and rules and features to catch more attacks.

This is NOT a Research, Data Science, Threat Intel, or other "theory-driven" team. You'll build systems to solve real problems for real customers.

To qualify, you'll need:

• 1+ year of experience building complex ML-related systems in production
• To be conversant with Python
• Experience with PySpark or Spark
• Strong software fundamentals - Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code
• The ability to understand existing systems and quickly build & iterate on top of them
• To work with other stakeholders to identify and build tools & processes to increase overall process efficiency
