Litigation Assistant

Morgan & Morgan is seeking a Litigation Assistant to support a lead attorney and litigation paralegal. The role involves various administrative duties and requires a highly organized individual with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform administrative duties such as scheduling hearings and deadlines
Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes
Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices
Implement and improve administrative processes for workflow efficiency
Collect and organize evidence and legal documents for attorney review
Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents
Research regulations and laws to assist with legal preparation
Manage client billing and resolve billing issues
Communicate with clients and witnesses to schedule meetings
Maintain documents in electronic filing systems

Education

High school diploma or GED
Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
