Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. seeks to fill the position of Associate in New York, NY

Design and develop modular web applications using applicable coding and testing standards. Participate in agile ceremonies. Employ modern software development practices. Collaborate with end users to design software solutions. Design a technology stack to power digital platforms aimed at unlocking efficiencies for financial investment teams. Support the resolution of technology operation problems and design strategic software solutions to offer various environmental, social, and governance metrics.

Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $140,100 and $150,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

Requirements:

Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study plus three (3) years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or a related role. Requires three (3) years of experience with: Java; SQL; and PL/SQL. Requires two (2) years of experience with: Java script; GWT; and Sencha. Requires one (1) year of experience with: Angular; Spring; Hibernate; Tableau; MongoDB; Jenkins; and SonarQube. Requires any amount of experience with: Python; Hadoop; and Spark.
