We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Director in Shared Services & Banking Operations to be responsible for performing quality control reviews of customer records to ensure adherence with the Firm’s Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements. In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and... develop client relationships. This is an Advanced Specialist position at Director level within Risk, Regulatory & Resilience, which performs various independent functions to ensure adequate controls are in place. We do this by providing an integrated risk and control framework to govern, assess, mitigate and manage financial and operational risk in Operations. Read on… What You’ll Do In The Role • Manage complex processes and/or support significant process management/project efforts • Lead in process improvement, project management or technology development and testing across multiple teams and/or divisions • Analyze and expose ambiguous, complex issues or non-standard issues, identify risks, root causes and propose future actions, tracking through to resolution • Build and manage relationships with business unit partners, other Morgan Stanley infrastructure departments, and external contact points in Client or Market organizations • Guide and support testers in the review of client data and documentation, including client due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) information. • Act as a subject matter expert on AML/KYC requirements and processes. Role is hybrid and will require in office attendance 3 days/week. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between 68000 and 125000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
