Morgan Stanley Fund Services is supported by more than 1,350 professionals based in New York, Westchester, London, Hong Kong, Dublin, Glasgow, Mumbai, and Bangalore.The Middle office group of Morgan Stanley Fund Services assists global hedge fund clients in ‘Trade Affirmation’ and ‘Treasury Management’ process on behalf of the clients.The group currently seeks a person who has the knowledge and skill in trade affirmation, treasury management process and experience in handling client/vendor communication. Candidate with knowledge of entire trade cycle and cash/collateral management will be added advantage.The team is also constantly engaged upon new projects, and the candidate in due course will participate in accordance to his/her demonstrated skills.QUALIFICATIONSPrimary Responsibilities:Trade break management and reporting for client executed tradesProcess management for client related collateral/margin and reporting queriesBuilding and maintaining excellent client relationships with the hedge fund clients as well as develop technical systems and product knowledge in order to provide first class client service.Liaise with global stakeholders including IT to develop a broker neutral client trade matching platformWork with existing and new clients setting up and on-boarding them onto both productsSkills Required:Bachelor’s degreeStrong communication skills, both written and verbalVaried product exposure – one or more of equity, swap, fixed income, listed and OTC productsStrong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work within a fast paced settingCritical thinker with track record of process improvementsExecute sound judgment in client responses and escalationSkills Desired:Prior experience in hedge fund and/or hedge fund administrator middle office operationTrade affirmation experience using DTCC, Omgeo (Oasys and CTM), and Traiana a plusPrime Brokerage Margin, Collateral Management, Settlements experienceCash and Collateral Management experience with ENSO, Hazeltree, VITEOS, or Integridata a plusExpected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $120,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
