Safety Engineer I - BLUvera - Forney, TX Manufacturing Plant
Candidate must live near or be willing to relocate to the Dallas/Forney, TX area. This position will not qualify for rotations or per diem.
SUMMARY
Mortenson is currently seeking a passionate Safety Engineer I who can interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The Safety Engineer will work to implement Mortenson’s Zero Injury Safety program at a project site and ensure a safe work environment for team members, subcontractors, and visitors to the construction work site.
Candidate MUST possess a 2 or 4 year degree (entry level position) or have H.S. Diploma, STS or CHST certification, and OSHA30. NCCER certifications do not meet qualifications.

**The base pay range for this role is $76,800 - $96,00 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
